Negative reactions and memories stay with us much longer than the should. We feel violated and wronged which may be true, but it is important to let these feelings go and get back to calm and peace as soon as possible. I couldn’t fail so bad that I would hurt myself. I could find out that I could walk the log. Worst case, I would fall off the log and the safety crew would land me softly on the ground (unless I upset a few of them). When I started to walk I slipped but I asked the ground crew to keep me to where I could try to recover. It is amazing at that point the fear was nowhere to be found.

After a few times of this and your likely not going to try again. It’s just how we are wired! That is why we don’t accept I tried a couple things that didn’t work, or dozens or hundreds or even thousands. Had Thomas Edison stopped before reaching a 1000 ways not to discover electricity we would all be buying lamp oil or candles today.

However if you have a passion, and drive that you felt strong about, you may just need to rediscover what drove you in this direction. It is easy to give and do things without enjoying life along the way. Maybe you lost track because you were not enjoying life?

It wasn’t until I watched, “The Secret” and Neil David Walsh spoke about purpose that I realized the answer lies within each of us. Our interest, desires and passions are keys to our purpose. Our purpose is up to us to write and bring to light. Therefore we were given the purpose and we are left to discover and create based on our findings.

You need to be able to move without feeling like you are never going to catch up. Here you may need to take some time to decide what is critical put it in a pile and pick the first item and work on it until completed, then pick up the next until you have that pile completed. Again a personal assistant could be most helpful in doing these task. The next is to put a pile for doesn’t matter, one for garbage, donate or pass to another – likely if you don’t know what to do with it that it really probably should be discarded.

After a week or so are you measuring your progress? Is it working? Is it not working? If not working, what can be changed that might allow it to work or work better? Have you implemented that change? From here it is the same exercise over and over until you find what works and what does’t. When should you quit? When you have achieved your dream or goal.

We are creative creatures. We were given to dream dreams and have visions and then set out to make those things happen! It is inherent in each one of us! We just have to find it and release it from years of bondage!

It wont happen in a few weeks or months so you need to commit to taking time each day to learn how to play the piano. You should also have the same commitment to a relationship if you expect it to work. Your goal or dream is a relationship of sorts. You have to commit to it daily! If you are in a physical relationship you and your partner need to make the commitment as if one does and one doesn’t a wedge is being planted not only in the goal or dream but the physical relationship.
