Reflection on a Famous Quote – March 20th, 2012, by Danny J. Stevens

“The lowest ebb is the turn of the tide.”

~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

When we are experiencing a downturn in life, we need to remember that at the lowest ebb the tide turns and begins to flow. Just as the tide cannot remain low and never flow again, our situation is the same.   It can and will turn around again.  This is the natural law.  Jim Rohn, a motivational speaker and teacher, reminded us of the Lessons of the Seasons.  This beautifully augments these lessons in that even in the low of winter we are reminded that spring is on its way.
