Claiming Victory in 2013 – January 24th, 2013, by Danny J. Stevens

“There is no passion to be found in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.”
~ Nelson Mandela

Being in the position of settling for a life that is less is not empowering! I think we have all been there once or more times over the course of our lives. If you are not able to take care of the basics such as food, warmth and shelter than this is where your attention flows. Once the basics are covered you expand your interest, reach and abilities to be of greater service. As you grow and your life expands you have the ability to reach out to others, the resources to where you can do things to help develop and increase your involvement and desires in an area which is an interest or passion!

The main point is we can not help anyone beyond the point were we are at. If you are not making ends meet or just verily making it how can you assist someone who is in trouble or struggling? It is not possible. You can give them advise but are you qualified? No, you are struggling. How can you help then master this area of life. This is where Nelson Mandela is speaking. A life that is not being lived is not experiencing the passion and growth that it could. What steps can you take today to radically improve your life? Where does you passion lie? If you don’t know, are you struggling? How can you get past this barrier so that you can begin to work on knowing what your passion maybe?
