Reflection of the Current Situation by Danny J. Stevens

On Day 6 of Giant Steps, this day of reflection on how things are currently.  Life can proceed without our ability to change the events or control what happened.   Rather than becoming a victim, we can move forward by changing how we respond to the event(s).   This can be accomplished by asking a better and more empowering question.  Should you still feel helpless and victimized we need to analyze, what are the questions you are asking yourself?

If you ask how this could happen?  Why did this happen?  Why me? The question removes the focus from how to deal with the situation.  Instead we could change the focus by asking, how can I fix this situation?  What are the possible answers?  If I am not able to see the answers, is there someone who can assist?

Is there anything in your life such as health, finance, relationships, or personal goals which are not as you would like them to be?  As usual, we are not to make a decision without being in an empowering state and we are not to leave a situation without making a decision and then taking immediate action.

Things which are not in the best state are my employment, my income, and my relationships.  I am working on my employment and working to update skills, create new habits and provide a new point of view so that I may move forward and even be considered for bonuses.    My income can be increase by the renewed views of my current position.  I have also been working to continue to be more open and open to all I come in to contact with.   It is working.  Please let’s hear about your challenges.
