Becoming More Aware by Danny J. Stevens

On day 15 of Giant Steps, Tony Robbins is about us to spend some time using our Reticular Activating System (RAS).   One could say learning how to be more aware.  This is day will likely have more content appended to it over time.   We a asked to complete three steps;

  1.  Commit to spending ten minutes over the next four days settings goals.  Make a written record o f the goals in a hardbound journal.  This last step is so very important!  Words once written tend to take on a life of their own.   Being in a hardbound journal means these will be with us for some time.   They are now a matter of permanent record.
  2. As you are working on the goals imagine you could have anything you wanted.  There are no limits.  What could you have in life if you knew you knew you could not fail?
  3. Have fun!  Let yourself free.  You are not bound by current circumstances.  You do not have any limits.  You are as if you were a child.  Remember what it was like to dream.  Remember what it was like to go thru a Christmas Catalog or Department store making wishes for Christmas?  As a kid the dreams were not restricted by money or being too large.  Let yourself think that way again.  Enjoy.

I would like to hear about your thoughts or experiences as you go through this exercise.  I will be posting my thoughts.   I already know that the adult life has taken a toll on dreams and aspirations.  It is so easy to allow ourselves to feel limits, restrictions, feelings of not being worthy or some other excuse why we cannot have our dreams.  These are self imposed or allowed.  Work on the exercises and dare to dream again.

    Hey. I noticed your site title, “Becoming More Aware by Danny J. Stevens | inrpower.net” doesn’t really reflect the content of your site. When composing your site title, do you think it’s best to write it for Web optimization or for your readers? This is something I’ve been battling with due to the fact I want good search rankings but at the same time I want the best quality for my site visitors.
