Reflection on a Famous Quote – February 20, by Danny J. Stevens

“I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.”

 Jimmy Dean

This is a good example of sensory acuity.   The shipmaster needs to determine if the direction of the wind and the angle of the sails will allow the proper course.  If the wind changes direction then the shipmaster will change the direction of the sail to keep the vessel on course.  Being aware of what is not working, you have the opportunity to analyze the results and make adjustments.   If the shipmaster discovers the ship is off course, he is able to adjust the sails to get back on track.

A minor change in direction can take us on a entire new course.  Do you need a new course of your life?  A minor change today will affect your future, or your destiny!
