Reflection on a Famous Quote – March 2nd 2012, by Danny J. Stevens

“Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness.  It is not attained through self-gratification but through fidelity to a worthy purpose.”

~ Helen Keller

The quote sounds like the definition Earl Nightingale coined about Success.  Earl defined Success as the progressive realization of a worthy goal.  Could it be that happiness then is not in money, items or completing a goal?  All those who have attained success in their life, states that the happiness is in the journey!

Instead of stating, “I will be happy when….”  You have the right and should expect to experience happiness now.  You should not stop working towards your goal.  You should enjoy each day and your journey towards your goals.
