Reflection on a Famous Quote – March 9th, 2012, Quote, by Danny J. Stevens

“You will never find time for anything.  If you want the time, you must make it.”

~ Charles Buxton

Time is something which cannot be controlled; however you can manage your activities.  If you have ever been in a situation where you needed more hours in every day, you will know that you need to manage your activities.  If you ever found yourself saying to your spouse, I need to get this taken care of and then there will be time to do what you want.  I don’t blame time for the lack of meeting those expectations but I do blame our understanding of time and our need to manage our activities.

If you don’t create the time in your schedule you will never find the time.  Years later you will be shaking your head wondering what happened.  You only have one life, one chance at living your life to the fullest.  Everyone is given the same time in a day.  Those who manage their activities can find time to do what they want to do.  Without managing your activities you are like a ship without a captain.  You need to know where you want to go and someone to steer you in that direction.   With no plans or direction you will always be wishing for more time in day, and finding that you don’t have the time to do what you need to do, let alone what you want to do.
