After a week or so are you measuring your progress? Is it working? Is it not working? If not working, what can be changed that might allow it to work or work better? Have you implemented that change? From here it is the same exercise over and over until you find what works and what does’t. When should you quit? When you have achieved your dream or goal.

Take out your hard bound journal and start writing. Tony Robbins states you should probably do this exercise over a couple times until you have over a hundred ways you can change your state in a healthy way.

We drag our feet and use excuses like I have not had my morning coffee. Have you noticed that after you get started you do not have a problem continuing. To spark your emotions do something physical.

…you could work on this exercise while sitting at a stop sign, dressing, cooking using your busy schedule to get a change to spend a minute or more per day practicing grinning. Being playful and trying various silly ways to place a huge grin on your face!

I don’t hear the fear but I am reminded that it subsided once I faced the fear. I had a choice being pushed off the log twenty feet off the ground and guided to safety or to trust my friends, ignore the mind chatter and step out. There were further challenges before crossing Steve on the log to get to the other side by we made it happen.
