I couldn’t fail so bad that I would hurt myself. I could find out that I could walk the log. Worst case, I would fall off the log and the safety crew would land me softly on the ground (unless I upset a few of them). When I started to walk I slipped but I asked the ground crew to keep me to where I could try to recover. It is amazing at that point the fear was nowhere to be found.

you will find they have been pointing you to planning, taking the first steps, and keeping the momentum going. Fear is just part of the equation. Realize though take the first step and face the fear, in doing so the fear begins to disappear. Keep the momentum going and your over half way to completion.

To many games are being played in the employment market today, you must pass the bombardment of questions which may or may not have anything to do with the job for which you have applied. I have over fours years watch countless companies re-hire for the position. Rather than aiming at someone who can answer the question, they need to look for the person who will perform the job, ho will grow with the company and who want to work. People will rise to the expectation and encouragement given to them.

Have you ever had the talk with the person in the mirror? Some call this a Dickens moment. This is where you see where you could have been but are not. You see what you might have been but did not act. Each time we deny the urge to act on our goals, dreams and destiny we die to ourselves and to humanity as it robs us of our spirit, our ability to dream and our ability to envision the future.

There are performers who know that when they feel this way it means they are pumped and ready to deliver, while another performer panics with anxiety and may back away. Delivering the performance is the cave they need to enter to reach the treasure.

I don’t hear the fear but I am reminded that it subsided once I faced the fear. I had a choice being pushed off the log twenty feet off the ground and guided to safety or to trust my friends, ignore the mind chatter and step out. There were further challenges before crossing Steve on the log to get to the other side by we made it happen.

We all have stories where we have taken immediate action on a decision. The result is a sense of power or being able to move boldly in to the future instead of cowering and fearing unseen results.
