Reflection on a Famous Quote – January 30, 2012 By: Danny J. Stevens

“If you look for the bad in people expecting to find it, you surely will”

~ Abraham Lincoln

Remember the lesson on the Reticular Activating System (RAS).  When we look for something, we filter the environment around us so that we can notice that which we seek.  This works in all areas, not just expecting bad, but in expecting good in people.  You can go to place for a vacation and you will find exactly what you expect to find.   Why then would you expect to find anything but the good in others?  Why would you live anywhere or visit where expecting bad things?  It is really your choice!

  1. this post is very funny and reatarded

  2. The point is how dice got loaded “after the music stopped…-” for the two groups, the 1% and the 99%. The stage was set for the 1% to profit themselves immensely from the disaster that the 99% is in.

  3. Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You clearly know what youre talking about, why waste your intelligence on just posting videos to your site when you could be giving us something enlightening to read?
